Delve Systems has been selected supply the NSRI’s new class of offshore rescue vessels (ORC) with video and audio recording systems. The video systems will be used to record rescues and training sessions, as well as provide good situational awareness to coxswains.

Automatically recording each time the vessel leaves her housing, the rugged camera system monitors working areas of the vessel, including for and aft decks. This footage is invaluable in incident debriefs, and will be used in training future crew. Additionally, live monitors installed in the wheelhouse give the coxswain great situational awareness of the vessel, being able to see the state of crew and equipment on and around the vessel.

Our system will also allow real-time streaming of video (and audio) from the vessel to NSRI’s centralized Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), ensuring smooth rescue operations and multi-vessel coordination.
